Kamala Nehru College was founded in 1964 by Dr KK Gorowara. In 1974, the college was renamed from ‘Modern College for Women’ to Kamala Nehru College. It gets its name from Kamala Nehru, the freedom fighter and wife of Jawaharlal Nehru. A healthy mix of cultural tradition and modernity is the spirit of KNC. Kamala Nehru College strives to provide its students with the best learning process they can have in a college. Courses offered by Kamala Nehru College:
Kamala Nehru College is a liberal arts college. It offers different courses in disciplines of Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce and Mathematics. It has courses available at both undergraduate (3 years programme) and postgraduate (2 years programme) level.
Apart from these courses, KNC also offers a course in the French Language at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma Levels. It does so for the tremendous holistic learning of the students.

Ullas The Annual fest of KNC! Isse Kaise chod sakte hai
Ullas is the annual cultural fest of Kamala Nehru College. Ullas is a two days long event that is full of fun and enthusiasm. A lot of events are conducted by the cultural societies of the college. The highlight of this much-awaited fest is the Star Night graced by Bollywood singers like Jubin Nautiyal, Sona Mohapatra, Nizami Brothers and others. A Vibrant Extravaganza indeed!

Kamala Nehru College is locatedadjacent to Gargi College in the posh area of South Campus of DU. The college is surrounded by a variety of hang-out spots from Greater Kailash Market to Saket Mall and what not! The girls at Kamala Nehru are never short of places to visit.
The nearest metro station is Green Park (yellow line). From here you would have to take a 10 minutes auto ride to reach the college campus.
KNC is one of the best-known girls colleges in Delhi University. It has it all be it the infrastructure or its faculty; its nearby hangout spots to the college canteen.
